Incora™ celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2022 in the UK

The month of February saw the annual, week-long celebration of apprenticeships, shining a light on the amazing work being done by employers and apprentices across the country. The theme of this year’s National Apprenticeship Week was ‘Build the Future’ and focused on the many ways that apprentices are having a positive impact on the workplace and wider economy. During the week of 7th – 15th February, Incora put on a calendar of events for its employees to showcase how an apprenticeship might benefit them or their teams.

As well as putting on events internally, on Wednesday 9th February, Incora employees attended the Apprenticeship Careers Event at Derby University to promote the apprenticeships that Incora has to offer. James Webster, General Management Graduate, who attended the event on behalf of Incora stated: “The Derby apprenticeship fair was a brilliant opportunity to engage with potential new talent for Incora whilst promoting our culture and values as a business. It was great to see so much interest in our apprentice schemes and to be actively building our brand recognition within the local community.”

The Apprenticeship Careers Event was a great success for Incora with many students interested in the apprenticeships available with us. We look forward to welcoming some of them to Incora. At the conclusion of the event, Jessica Newton, Learning, Development and Emerging Talent Specialist, commented: “It was great to be at Derby University during #NAW2022 promoting our Customer Service Apprenticeship vacancy and engaging with students from the university, local colleges and local schools and with members of the general public. Following our merger and covid it was a fantastic chance to be promoting Incora and the opportunities we have. Lots of individuals expressed an interest in learning more about our business and we’re really excited to see what comes from it.”

At Incora, we’re passionate about investing in our staff and upskilling our employees. Our apprenticeship programs equip our people with the training and confidence they need to succeed in their careers, whatever their path may be. We look forward to welcoming new apprentices to Incora and continuing to develop our employees
